Subprocessors

1. Overview: UHL Hosting is a Swiss company. Customer workloads and the data they contain are processed in the European Union, not in Switzerland. This page names the third parties involved, because a subprocessor list that names nobody is not a list.

2. Infrastructure: Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) provides the compute, storage and network on which the hosting platform runs. Customer application data, databases and backups are processed there.

3. Payments: Stripe processes card payments and subscription billing. UHL Hosting does not store card numbers; payment credentials are held by Stripe.

4. Domains: Openprovider is the registrar through which domain registrations, renewals, transfers and DNS operations are executed. Registrant contact data is transmitted to the registrar and, as registry policy requires, to the relevant domain registry.

5. Transfers: As a Swiss controller processing in the EU, transfers between Switzerland and the EEA rely on the European Commission and Swiss Federal Council adequacy findings. Data is not processed outside Switzerland and the EEA by the subprocessors listed above.

6. Compliance: Data processing agreements are in place with the subprocessors named above. Subprocessors are assessed against the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and the GDPR before being engaged.

7. Updates: This list changes when the underlying services change. Customers are notified before a new subprocessor begins processing their data, and may object.
